Answering a viewer's question whether there is a story behind the "Contemplation" series:

"Actually, no. Good morning, S. .
It is a congeries of abstract works. While the C series consists of pure meditative paintings for the viewer to explore, 'Contemplation' has and will have ( it's continuing) some works with additional titles like " Soul Tissue". To paint these ones it started out with being in a meditative state, going with the flow, following the process. etc. and then, after having finished them, they "tell" me what they are. The title pops into my mind. Contemplation 1 for instance shows the birth of an idea."
