Concept behind this painting: Yellow =color of the third main chakra, the so called power/powerless themed energy center. Here it refers to its positive powerful symbols: stands for freshness, happiness, positivity, clarity, optimism, enlightenment, intellect, honor, loyalty, or joy. I assume there is more. While one of its negative attributes is deceit and power abuse. To the right: the pictograph of a bear foot print. The bear is seen as a healer. Besides many other characteristics he is known for being grounded and - as a plant eater - being able to distinguish between eatable and poisonous plants. This bear symbol (totem) implies self-healing energy. The red square refers to the lowest main chakra which shows the red color. This is the themed center about surviving, fight, competition etc and therefore aggression. Here I used the negative attributes of a red symbol. In this painting I see the red energy tamed and controlled while the yellow dominates. Other and higher goals are or should be of interests and are urgently in demand considering our global problems and the necessity to reflect on our identity as a human being. The deer! Many symbols here. Among others - strength, guidance, backbone, clarity, cycle or transformation. "Power" is about our ability to learn and change.
